Thomas made 23 huge saves in a 2-0 week for Elmira College in conference play as they picked up wins against Utica and Houghton. She stopped an incredible 19 shots in a 4-2 win on the road against powerhouse Utica on Wednesday. Thomas topped that off making four saves in a huge 2-1 home win against Houghton on Saturday. On the week she finished with a .885 save percentage and gave up just 1.5 goals per game.

The EC Field Hockey team now sits at 3-4 overall and 2-2 in Empire 8 competition.  The Soaring Eagles are tied for third place in the conference standings with Houghton, Washington & Jefferson, Ithaca and St. John Fisher. The top four teams make the post-season tournament.
