In four matches, Kasey Campbell '19 recorded team highs in both digs (53) and digs per set (3.79), in addition to tossing four service aces and earning 10 assists. The senior finished with double-digit digs in three of the four matches and had multiple aces twice.
On Class of 2019 Recognition Day on October 17, Campbell had 11 digs with two aces and two assists against Alfred University inside Speidel Gymnasium. The following night, she amassed her second-highest single-match total of the season with 21 digs in a four-set victory over SUNY Delhi. She also tossed two aces in the win. At an Empire 8 Conference tri-match against Stevens Institute of Technology and St. John Fisher College, the Honeoye, New York, native registered a combined 21 digs and six assists.
The fourth-year libero paces the Soaring Eagles in aces (49) and digs (330) in 97 sets played this season. Campbell ranks among the Empire 8 leaders in aces per set with a mark of .051, trailing only St. John Fisher's Rebecca Hay by a small fraction.
Campbell and the EC women's volleyball team will conclude the home portion of the 2018 slate with their final Empire 8 match on Tuesday, October 23, against Nazareth College. The conference contest will begin at 7:00 p.m. inside Speidel Gymnasium.
