At the 2021 Empire 8 Conference Spring Championships at the Timber Banks Golf Club over the weekend, Alex Crysler '21 placed 10th overall, good enough to earn a spot on the E8 All-Conference Second Team. The Syracuse, New York, native is the first Soaring Eagle to collect Empire 8 All-Conference honors since 2014. Crysler's 80 (+8) on Sunday was the second-best round of his career, while his two-day total of 165 (+21) is his lowest 36-hole score.

A dual-sport student-athlete, Crysler also threw 3.2 innings with three strikeouts for the baseball team on Friday against St. John Fisher College.
