Emma Crocker '21 was Elmira's leading goal scorer in a two-game sweep of Stevenson, as the second-year forward deposited three goals in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) series. In a 3-0 shutout win on Friday, February 15, Crocker found the back of the net twice for her second multi-goal outing of the season. She added one more tally to her total in the third period on Saturday for insurance in EC's 5-1 win, extending her point streak to four consecutive games.
In her second year with the Purple and Gold, Crocker finished the regular season with career highs in points (24) and assists (16). The Abington, Massachusetts, native heads into the playoffs playing some of her best hockey as of late, having logged at least one point in nine of her last 10 appearances.
Crocker and the nationally-ranked EC women's ice hockey team will return to the ice when they host the semifinal and championship rounds of the UCHC Championships on Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3, at the Murray Athletic Center in Pine Valley, New York.
